Leah Greene is a private vocal and music lessons teacher specializing in early childhood, songwriting, and contemporary vocal styles. With a BFA in Music Theatre from Elon University, Leah has extensive training in all vocal styles from classical to pop/rock. In addition to voice, Leah also teaches guitar, piano, and ukulele, as well as songwriting. She is also available for early childhood music lessons and parties.
“As a teacher, I focus on creating an encouraging environment where students feel safe to try new things. My lessons are centered on building confidence and tapping into joy. Though technique is important, often times our biggest challenge is letting go of our own insecurities to reach our full potential. Having a supportive space and maintaining a playful curiosity is crucial to that experimentation process.”

testimonials:
“Our daughter adores Leah! She lights up from the minute she gets on zoom. Our daughter has taken lessons from other instructors, but says that what makes Leah different and amazing is her ability to teach people to sing in different registers while keeping it fun! Leah has great warm ups and is so incredibly encouraging during the lesson. She made singing fun and memorable again!” — Whitney B.
“Leah is so supportive, knowledgeable, and passionate that she makes me excited to try new things instead of feeling intimidated. I also appreciate how flexible she is with the fact that I only ever bring Japanese music. Her lessons are genuinely one of things I look forward to most every week. We’re working on a lot of grits and growls which I never imagined I’d be able to do. There’s still a long road ahead but I’m so excited to watch myself grow!” — Olivia S.
